Hefe-Weizen is pretty close to the top of the list for us when we think iconically “German” beers, so Bingo being Bingo, we play this tasty jammer pretty true to style! Ours is a zippy lil Southern Bavarian-style guy that’s brewed with wheat and pilsner malts and is decocted (pushes up glasses) for maximum doughy, bready flavor and creamy body. A house-fave German yeast strain gives tasty notes of pear and clove, while just a touch of new-school German hops (Mandarina Bavaria & Solero) provide light citrus and spice notes while keeping the bitterness to a minimum.
