Brewed with a blend of pale wheat and pilsner malt, and fermented with a traditional German weizen yeast resulting in moderate clove-like phenolic spice and restrained ester profile with notes of pear, apple, and the slightest hint of banana. We hopped this years batch late in the boil with German Solero and Mandarina hops, providing a bit of candied-orange like citrus flavor and minimal bitterness.
